Catherine Chiugo Kanu, Ph.D. is a business educator and management consultant with hands-on teaching and multi-sector consulting experience. She is a lecturer at the University of Nigeria and has keen interest in improving learning for business practioners and students in the 21st century. She is also interested in consumer and brands studies. She had worked as an Associate and as a Manager at Management Transformation Limited, a strategic management consulting firm. As a management consultant, Catherine participated in high-impact engagements for several institutions including financial markets regulators, commercial banks, manufacturing companies, oil & gas companies, power sector players and international and local not-for-profit institutions. She also worked at the National Examinations Council as an examination officer. Catherine obtained a B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D in Business Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has also attended high-impact educational programmes including programme on Negotiation and Leadership (Harvard Law School, 2014) and Design and Development of Large Assessments (Educational Testing Services Global Institute, New Jersey, 2013).
